They also show they were not there and have no clue what it was like.  They think all boomers are the same.  Nixon supporters and McGovern's could not have been more different... and then there was a famous generation gap that was so pronounced.

We did try and worked our asses off to make the world a better place.  We failed.  They would have too.  The rich won as always. 

 @6b1924ae @3967703f it's as if people don't realize there's older leftists, older PoC, older religious minorities, and... maybe not a /lot/ of older queers, but enough that we younger ones should know better. we put all these long-dead philosophers and activists on a pedestal, yet ignore or even attack our actual living elders. :/
