thank you much, friend! GM!. Yes I was thinking the same about Yaki's even though this time it rekted my pc by poping out inifinite requests to my nos2x-firefox :S similar happens with Coracle... probably a bug but also most likely the insistence of bringing some of the old fashions (such as trackers and cookies) to the nostr protocol. nostrudel.ninja/article/articlecode1a2b3c also works nice it seems...
nostrudel is ok but it doesn't render articles properly... i think highlighter also does long form articles properly... you can't compose them in coracle but it also displays these markdown formatted documents this idiotic idea that nostr kind 1 notes should be "plain text" when that's what markdown is, it is readable without being rendered into HTML, is one of the things in the nostr elite dev culture that really gets on my nerves... the in-group that controls the nips repo also, when they don't even actually do any work to keep things moving forwards, refuse to merge good changes, and so on
oh, would you like to use alby btw? they keep nagging me to use my invites
just the wallet but the nostr features. for the nostr i got the nos2x. indeed it seems it gets buggy when a nostr client calls both extensions; usually no problem after telling alby to ignore totally the nostr requests... 🧐 in any case i think the lesser the requests, —ideally only after explicit manual events and not by automatized requests— the better experience of the noster...
i think alby's permissions/signing control is more mature and stable than nos2x we all love the jaf but his software is always alpha, he spends more time writing than debugging, and my experience is 10% writing 90% debugging in time of development
Hey, where do you see it? We are removing invites, this nagging also could disappear now 😉 Thanks!
https://getalby.com/invite_codes when logged in thtis is the screen where you can enter email addresses who dis, i can't see your profile event
oh finally my client got it lol
yeah i was aware you were removing invites and making it open access but i haven't heard an annoucement about the time nor seen it in the UI
We decided to start quiet with it and observe organic interest ;) But yes, you can still invite friends, why not! We might keep that nagging, if it's not too annoying
