Dumbbell lunges are the apex exercise.
I think it’s barbell back squats. But happy someone else around here also does legs.

I love dumbbell lunges because they’re a full body exercise. Grip strength, arms, shoulders, back, core, legs, glutes and they require a good amount of control and coordination if you’re going heavy proportion of body weight. If I could only do one exercise they would be it.
Sumo squats are fun. Kettle bell lunges are effective. Wall sits are voluntary self-torture.
I have long ass arms so I bang the kettle bells on the floor when I try those. Plus at my peasant gym they don’t have any kettle bells over 30 lbs. I usually am going 50 or 55 when I’m hitting the dumbbell lunges. Wall sits are torture and I’m sure that the universe slows time down when someone does them 😂
