They don't do anything to slow down old iphones? They admitted in 2017 and paid out.

I have 2 experiences with apple. At work the people I worked with always came in for help with their apple devices, they wanted to download photos or transfering music but we were unable to help them because apple forces you to use apple software. 
Something simple you can do on Android you can't do with apple. For some reason they didn't even know themselves that you are forced to use apple software.

The other time someone gave me a free old apple laptop and it was slow and and could barely function with the apple OS but as soon as I installed Linux on it. It was extremely fast. So the issue here is apple stops updating their OS and then people are forced to purchase a new laptop. People seem to think the hardware is outdated but it's apple wanting you to buy a new laptop. The hardware is fine. That's how they make money.

I had the most issues like overheating because Samsung loads garbage and customizes their OS to load a lot of their apps. Samsung also artificially slows down phones so their customers think the phone is dying and need a new a new one. You can search it online.

I'd say most phone manufacturers do that to make money. 

As for hardware. Phones have definitely gotten stronger then past phones. 

I'm not saying one is better than the other. I'm saying both companies play dirty but one company is much overpriced than the other which is apple.

All the phones I bought have been Chinese brands. I earse the OS and install a custom roms. The price for the phones are usually 300USD.

I have saved tons of money and those phones are still running extremely fast. The problem I face is the OS developers stop developing after a while and move on to developing on newer phones.

 There is an option on older iPhones to run at full speed. Also I’m not sure what you mean.. I can download photos from my android and download mp3 files without a problem. 

Who downloads music anyway? People use Spotify or Apple Music these days (both of which are cross platform) 

 Did they add that option after admitting they got caught for purposely slowing down iphones. They are a corrupt company. I doubt that button makes it run as fast as Linux. From my experience many people who use apple are normies. They know wouldn't know how to install an operating system. So that button may say it runs their OS faster but doubt the could tell the difference.

In the past they forced you to use iphone software to download mp3s and photos. I checked on chatgpt and they said they changed it recently. My experience was from 2018.

I downloaded mp3s because I refuse to give my money to a corrupt company like Spotify who censored many truthers.

I don't see anything that is worth paying the ridiculous amounts of money apple wants. Maybe the convenience of them doing everything for you but I like having control of my own software and hardware. I find I can do that with Linux more than apple or windows.  

 With PCs I prefer Linux but it’s not great to game on Linux. With phones, you won’t see a huge performance difference between android and iPhone on any phone that’s less than 5 years old. Custom ROMs on android don’t make a huge difference either. 

Dealing with a rooted and degoogled phone and trying to use google pay was an eye opener. So many apps just don’t function if you are degoogled or rooted. 

I would still be using a Pixel if they didn’t sell out and focus all of their development on useless woke shit. Google software used to be great, but modern android is just absolute trash.
