 Free hot water (and therefore free electricity). 

 You can’t drive a car if you don’t have a car to drive. 

 And it’s a beautiful country!  One of the best vacations we’ve had was there. 

 There's two ways of looking at this which I think are interesting, on one hand having no military shows other countries and the world that you don't mean them any harm and want to live in peace, on the other hand it also shows them you are an easy target because you can't fight back.
