 @2ee95d3f I was always impressed with how she took those topics and made compelling stories out of them, and how she tackled a period in human history no one had thought to explore. It's an impressive body of work. 😃 
 @7b682b86 Yes it is, and I discussed with a few people, some of them archeology students and one an anthropologist and they confirmed how on top of the then current research she was. We could link it do yesterday's description discussion too. 😁 She wrote a lot of description, too much for many, but I liked it. With that much research there is also always a bit of danger of wanting to show it all.
I've read other fiction about the stone ages but none as compelling. Maybe it was the sex... 😂 
 @2ee95d3f I've seen research pop up in the wake of her books that confirmed her work, which always made me smile. She had a knack for writing the quiet moments so they were never boring. 😃
