Lads, I just made the switch to NixOS GNOME for the media PC from Windows. Changed/added about three lines in the config and bam! working. Spousal approval 10/10 too, which of course is all that matters. Pretty happy with the performance on the old AMD Phenom II X6 - boots up fast and seems to handle all media types at 4K. The 5.1 surround sound analogue output and Bluetooth for the mouse even worked out of the box! Thumbs up on the map work last week, Bakers Hill, Western Australia was correct for 6562.
