Long old day again, prepping pallets in the glorious sunshine... could be worse. But nipped into the #allotment in the morning to ensure a few needy things weren't parched and cooking.

Think we've done OK for Tomatoes this year and this "heatwave" will hopefully hasten some more ripening (ah, the silver linings of climate catastrophe and the impending grim endtimes of this so called civilization.)

 @88f809c5 Very jealous as ever of your polytunnel and that you have no blight. It’s great to see the time, effort and expense you’ve put in come to fruition. It’s a great growing space you have. Good luck with ripening your tomatoes, you have so many on those long trusses. This extra sunshine should help them on nicely. Ridiculously hot for September.
