I really struggle with lying, so filling in these KYC questionnaires from banks and exchanges in the UK where you have to confirm that you invest less than 10% of your net worth in Bitcoin and that you know Crypto is extremely high risk, galls me.
It is forcing me to be dishonest, which no society should do.
Is it right to counter corruption with dishonesty. I don’t know, but all I do know is that I am a lair and I don’t like it.
It's perfectly legitimate to lie to a robber that's trying to extort you. Don't even give it a second thought.
One of the reasons I moved to Malta four years ago is that I have no regrets about it.
Flip the script! They are overreaching into your private life. They don’t deserve the “truth”.🤝
It might be a generational issue. I have the same feeling based problem.
You are interacting with the dishonest fiat system, trying to limit your freedom. It's annoying, but you have to play their silly games.
OP has to because they've already started, but we all have a choice in adolescence. You don't have to go along with the system trying to make you lie for it
"where you have to confirm that you invest less than 10% of your net worth in Bitcoin"
bro... what? fuck these people
As long as you are a lair and not a liar that's ok 🤣
Its stupid. I was asked same that I'm investing <10%.
They label us a liar and make us feel guilty. Its a top manipulation tactic. Bitcoiners are the most honest people I've met. Carry on Mike, we all with you on this one. We are all Lairs! 🤣
Yeh I feel the same way when I have to do this. Although, I have to lie so that I can store as much of my income into bitcoin as possible. Crazy that I can freely gamble 100% of my money but can’t put 10% of my annual income into Bitcoin 🙈
This is why I don't file taxes; however, I don't recommend people who are already as deep into the system as you try switching to honesty. Look at it like you've joined a gang that doesn't just let people leave. Try to use your position to help people.
