Yeah, it took them a few years to work out what they were, but now the blackbird is quite good at getting them before me. That's why I like the weeping mulberries the birds seem to have a harder time getting all the fruit and they are easier to net if I end up losing the competition. 

 Have never seen the weeping variety, need to look those up. 

 I have a red one, think there might be  white ones too, there are also dwarf ones too. I had one a dwarf one a while ago but I didn't get it in the ground and it died in the drought 🤦‍♂️
