You've reminded me of something. I sort of get the other claims, but I never really understood how Bitcoin was supposed to promote peace. Bt that I mean, I don't understand how it has any effect on the military operations of countries.

The real problem with achieving peace is, even the people who talk about small government, mostly still support the armed forces and actually most of the Bitcoin promoters I've watched have paid tribute to the forces at one time or another.

There are exceptions of course such as Lark Davis, generally speaking bitcoiners seem to be pro military.
