 Customers at ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons wouldn’t tolerate being charged wildly different prices for a loaf of bread or a bottle of wine or beer solely based on where the supermarket thought it could gouge its customers the most and get away with it…

So why on earth do millions of them put up with being fleeced at the petrol pump day in day out?

 No sympathy for anyone buying #fossil fuel when #EV fuel is 1/6 the price & doesn’t boil the planet.

 But they do get charged different prices, through things like clubcard prices, offers etc, which can be variably applied - as well as variable product lines.

(the 'normal' price is a rip off)
