Okay, am I wrong here about Bluesky? It  doesn't appear to solve shit. The woke scolds descended upon it early and ensured that what you get, as far as decentralization and platforming go, is barely better than mastodon. 

On mastodon, an "instance" can stomp your account; your content. They reset your pokemon game.

Tell me if I have this right:  "Decentralization" on bluesky is tantamount to guaranteeing a  fucking backup, as long as you run your own infrastructure. Is that it?

 But you have those same guarantees if you run your own Mastodon instance!

 It appears that bluesky is actually the most restrictive, as far as content goes. On mastodon, you at least get both extremes, and if you run infrastructure, you can give free speech guarantees to your users.
