There are already more non-christians than active, practicing christians. Only about 20-30% of any given congregation's "members" ever darken the door or give a dime. 

 @f884fa2b GOP is working hard to make their warped version of "Christianity" the national religion, and it wouldn't surprise me to see them succeed in the long term.
