"Sex work is work" as in, "the prostitute has the right to sell sex" is the wrong approach to take as it completely ignores who is buying. Whether the woman finds pleasure in selling sex, whether she should have the right to "decide for herself" is irrelevant when considering the fact that every sex buyer is essentially a rapist. How can it be work when there are no "valid" customers? 

 It also completely ignores who actually sells it. It's men selling women to other men.
