Not sure that can last forever. If you remove that. Very little goes to content creators. Tips are typically 21sats which is about 2cents. Would you give someone on the street 2 cents? There may be a handful of generous bitcoin whales but very little trickles down. And in the case of the relay network, nothing went to them of that generous donations. Much is still unaccounted for. If the money was fairly allocated it would be a different story. But how to do that?
That’s a question of time preference. My 69☯️ zaps were 2-3 cents when I started on Nostr, they’re now 10 cents. I’ll keep zapping 69☯️ and soon enough they’ll be worth 20 cents. Then 25. Then 50… My grandkids will look back on my npub and be pissed at what I frivolously sent a dinners worth of Sats to. Today that might not be enough to keep a content creator alive to which id say - get a real job providing real value to real people. Making memes isn’t adding enough value to the extended order to warrant it being a full time job, and it likely never will.
21sats is what you get for doing nothing 😃 I checked my stats, I also received a median zap of 21 i’m still curious how much this can scale money makers are always outliers too this by no means a job, but content creation rarely is on any platform, it’s a tough game no matter where you go
