 Looks like it could be. If there were ground cherries growing close by last year, it likely is. I have plants that have sprouted up on their own all over my yard this summer. 

 We don't have this plant here and i didn't know it existed. Nice.

 It creates a sweet gooseberry type fruit. Another gardener caed it weed cause it kept reseeding itself lol 

 I have the perfect spot for it and i found a store in Greece to order it. It will be available in spring though...
