@6ee66bbf memes were really common even way back in the email days. so probably even a pretty small n would accomplish your goal. we weren't really part of the BBS scene though we lived through it, but our impression was that they weren't as big back then. less ability to forward stuff.
@267164f0 @6ee66bbf one of the challenges with comparison to the BBS days is that bandwidth, storage, and easy ways to digitize things, meant that pictures were much less "a thing". So, I dunno... you wouldn't necessarily get Jorts, but I suspect we'd probably get the equivalent of the several tens of people "Floof Therapy" FB group in which a few friends and I share pictures of our own floofy goofies. Which, for me, would be sufficient.
