Oh it does evolve. Faster than I could follow. Keep your nsec (private key) secure! By injecting it via getalby.com or nos2x you will be able to login to all kinds of webpages within the next one or two years.
are you aware of people working on making nostr easier to adopt for normal people? i can't imagine non-technical persons to understand the crypto keys etc.
Generally a lot of devs tend to argue that private/public keys are easier to use AND understand than the "email plus new password on every site" logins we've been using for the last two decades... Which client/ clients are you useing? For iOS some have reported great onboarding success with primal.net

There is a primal version for Android, too. You can download the apk directly from their homepage. It isn't as polished as in iOS though, but they're still working on it.
using it right now how do people feel about entering their private keys in many apps? i don't see how this can work in the long run...

I do the same atm. I do believe it'll grow up to where you can have a kind of a wallet app for the keys, and delegate all signing to it. I think Alby does something similar, but I haven't tried it! Btw, the suggestion to tag stuff is a good one. Basically lands the note in more global streams for people who might not be following you to see!
