nah, seriously, this is the kind of ridiculous spoiling i have literally seen in my life up close, this obsession with identities and pretending to be a lesbian or a boy is a typical manifestation of this damage and it's literally caused by parents giving in to tanties and granting every request... it's most common in middle class families where there is resources to do this kind of thing
