I want an LLM dictionary device for kids. They can carry it around and ask it questions when they want to know what the word means.
Dumb down one of the smartphones lying around the house, install chatGPT and give this new device to kids :)
Don't know if I can trust chatGPT alone with my kids. I want an offline version, limited to dictionary functionality.
Why use an LLM for that?
What else us able to do it?
A normal dictionary... It's the perfect, child-friendly UI: a box where you input the word you want to know. If you want to make it audio, I guess that's trivial nowadays. Why make it harder?
