It's ok, it was well past his time. I'm sure he's at peace now. Knowing those things somehow doesn't make it hurt any less though. 💔

I'm so sorry. I was very close to my grandfather and was there when he took his last breath. It was so strange because it seemed "something" left his body at the same moment.

I'm really sorry for your lost, Jeff. Life in this world can be amazing, but the fact that, as we get older, we eventually have to say goodbye to our loved ones who were here before us and took care of us is brutal. One day humanity will defeat death and we are going to stop this suffering chain.
