You need a way to prevent and manage spam . The spam situation is terrible on nostr and the Frontends hide the problem and backends don't do shit

The nostr relays get abused with spam

If someone links or posts CP, you have no way to deal with it.  You have no way to set your own rules for your relay. As nostr grows, users will be effectively DDOSing every instance


Install any fediverse software and look at the management capabilities.  It's needed

tools are improving some relays do handle spam

cp , nostr relays are text only currently, for media we will use something else like iroh

 

 filtering at relays is easy to do as you can use the same methods as clients

Not hosting images is retarded too. Makes no sense to rely on third-party tools and requires more management and configuration .. uneeded complexity for admins.

 no it cant, any way you can deploy it on nostr or stop it in the fediverse is atleast equally possible in each, i would say nostr has more ability to stop it

lol You can;t delete on Nostr, you can delete on Fedi. On Nostr, images are all hosted on third-party services 

 you think you can delete on fedi, and well you can do the same in nostr
