You're using relay.snort.social which was a public relay before. Now it's a paid relay - so if you don't have a subscription (which I think is most likely), that relay should still have your old kind3/following list.

Try switching off all the relays except that one for reading & see if you have your old following list.  

 That didn't work. I wonder if there's something else I need to do 😬 

 fyi: I've been using the wine relay (paid) and everything has been fine
