 Iirc major cities like nyc and LA and chicago stopped giving crime stats by race to the fbi a few years back as well so all of them are probably like 6x lower than they really are.

 Is there anyway to check records with mugshots? If all these are punished publicly then it could be possible to cross reference photo with the paper record and get a true number with ai descriptions of the mugshot
