I've been there. It's MAD busy. To many Italian's, obviously. I don't drink wine but had THE MOST AMAZING bottle of Rose in the city centre. I liked the misted fans in the restaurants, odd really, you think you're gonna get wet but you don't, it's just a nice cooling sensation on your skin. "The Vatican?" Over-rated. I'm a lover of art, I seriously am; The ceiling of The Sistine Chapel? Massive letdown. The man can paint, clearly, but no. I just wasn't impressed, I'm no philistine, as previously stated, I genuinely do love art. I've spent thousands on it, it hangs on the walls of my study. So then, Romulus? Amazing city, heritage? second to none. Food? 9/10. Locals? 7/10. Overall experience? 6.5/7 out of 10. I've genuinely travelled widely, while impressive, I just found it a bit lacking.
Very expensive too. Did you manage to try the "Tronkie" chocolate bar😍??
