 it's a fiat thing to destroy something because it does not work and create another one that doesn't work either and keep trying...look at some countries that went through hyper inflation, they often create a new currency after one fails, and another and another. A money protocol that simply works is very contraintuitive, many people make 10x and start asking, what's the next one?
