Just had the IET call and before I could answer they rang off. They then followed up with an email saying they tried to contact me.
The email was signed off as

Why do sales people have to be called executive? It's a bit like having supreme, luxury toilet paper. Your only cleaning my arse, don't get above yourself bog roll. 

 @e30f7dfe from my own experience with sales people in the spheres of IT and engineering granting these folks grand titles is necessary as a sort of bubble-wrap around the house of cards that forms the structure of their fragile egos.
