 The aurora borealis shone brilliantly over South Carolina last night. Though I was wondering how northern lights could have gotten so terribly misplaced, I did enjoy that they came south for a visit.

 Beautiful. It was visible even farther south than you, but we didn't get a show that spectacular. 
Tonight, make sure you look all around. We could see spots and stripes directly overhead and towards the Eastern horizon.
