Feel you but dont forget that social media, nostr or otherwise, will never approximate anything close to real connections and real friends. Those things require real world, not digital, interactions.

Not saying there isnt a role for digital interaction but theres truth to the "touch grass" idiom.
And bruh setup your lightning address so I can hit you with some generational wealth!
 Working on it!
I mean using it as medium to discover people, and therefor irl opportunities. I use and encourage others to only use "social media" for about 30 mins or less per day. I usually stick to that. That's all I've ever used socials for. My previous time spent on Facebook was inside communities. It landed my previous job and one of my closest irl friends, and helped me build a small technical community in my previous work field, of which I still get to speak with and on rare occasions meet up with, even though I'm no longer active in automotive.

That's been my experience mostly positive. I've never used Twitter and other short form social apps but from what Ive understood over the years my experience was a bit more underground.
