 I had penny candy in the 80s. I enjoyed going to the store around the corner from my dad's office to get Tootsie rolls and Swedish fish. 🥹 

 I'm old enough to have had a cousin run a small general store down the street from my house, in a fuckin' suburb, where we could get bread, eggs, candy and canned goods, dry goods, and lunch meat daily.  This needs to be brought back. also, fuck HOAs
