 It’s actually part of what makes nostr so great. There are no single points of failure. This removes a lot of problems. 

I’m supportive of decentralization both online and offline. 

 Decentralization is a double edged sword. It works wonders to erode monopolies. Not so well for building consensus at scale. Nostr is a bit of a free-for-all in that way. 💛 

 Is consensus needed? That’s an honest question or will the market decide? 

 YES BOTH

The wild “free market” of infinite possibility is tamed most effectively by people who come to work together. This is either done voluntarily or it is not. 

Decentralized chaos can be balanced in harmony by local efforts to focus and cooperate.
