 Is it just a simple auto reboot after X amount of time? Or is it like an auto reboot if the screen has not been unlocked for X hours?

 Not sure, but I think it's when the phohe is X hours locked. I have never experienced an unattended restart, when I was using my phone.

 Automatic reboot timer is counted when device is in a locked state and the timer stops when the device is unlocked again
