It's incredibly easy.
When you look up google dot com, it takes you to a web site.
With #pubky you look up, not a domain name, but your public key aka your npub on nostr
And it takes you to your own website, that you choose and control.
Best of all this is secured by millions of nodes, so that there are no take downs, no gate keepers and censoring it requires taking down millions of nodes, but 100s more pop up in a second.
WAIT a second. Are you telling me you rebuilt DNS on Nostr, or someone did? Is that what this is? Because if that's what #pubky is, or a part of what this is, hot damn good work.
I can not claim credit, unfortunately! But when I read about it, I kicked myself, "why did no one think of this".

I did, back when @calle 👁️⚡👁️ identified the HTTPS integration during cashu development. I just had too much backwork to do before I could take a crack at the problem. Damn happy someone figured it out.
Typjng people's pubkeys to navigate to a website is not convenient. Will be some shortened version of the pubkey? Or maybe using NIP-05 addresses?
People will just click. There's no short names in this version. Maybe people can argue the case in a future version. Something like NIP-05 could work.
