 The Instagram feed smells the most of desperation and death throes. It's a smattering of people I follow but predominantly 'viral' slop from accounts that I don't even follow.

 Is it possible that this is because you've semi-abandoned these platforms and people have moved on to different accounts?  I remember you saying that you read your 200 follow twitter feed in like 3 mins which seems impossible (i follow less than 150 and could scroll all day if I actually wanted to).

I'm not 100% sure of your leanings but a lot of lefties have moved to bsky, though I expect they will eventually return to twitter when they realise they're in too small a pond.
