A close friend of mine is looking for therapy. The therapist must be specialised in managing painful thoughts such as: I wish I had more bitcoin I wish I hadn’t spent #bitcoin on *that* stuff when I was a teenager Also that general feeling of, “maybe I could have done something differently during the bear market to have more btc.” Any ideas?

I understand this. I would say the best way to manage this pain is to keep buying Bitcoin, and thus keeping the focus on the solution instead of the problem. I'm also available for group therapy as I also suffer from this problem. Keep strong :D
I also have a … friend who told me the same… I mumbled something like stop being terminally online go out and touch some grass or go for a walk, and if you noticed that you are looking at the bitcoin graph for 10 minutes to go do something else xD
Sounds like a classic case of Post-Traumatic Sats Disorder. It's serious! The most effective treatment is Cognitive Bitcoin Theory which entails supervised daily doses of dollar cost averaging. Dosage depends on how well the patient responds to the treatment. In serious cases, pharmaceuticals such as SSRI (Selective Satoshi Re-uptake Inhibitors) may be required.
