My neighbor put up Christmas lights before Thanksgiving.

Most of me doesn't care, but a small part of me is like:

 💪🏻
Christmas lights are a tasteless abomination. Still would defend anyone’s right to put them up though.
At this point I’m fine with it cause it doesn’t make me more mad than the people that put up Halloween decoration up on September 15th this year!!!!! Argggggg
 Such an iconic character.
Love Walter and the big lebowski in general. Few comedy movies are that well made! https://image.nostr.build/be363ec661c358d7a48466dc9606c2ec7a8598cb40b2e8077982e63ef0ab4443.jpg
Canadian Thanksgiving was in October. Christmas decorations usually go up around after Halloween here.
 Seems right

Incorrect. Black Friday is definitely Christmas too.
In Puerto Rico my neighbors all had them up before Halloween. Different rules in different locations I guess.
A gigantic part of your neighbour loves Mariah Carey
Yeeees. Christmas doesn't start until Santa rides down 6th Ave.
Studies have shown that people who decorate early for Christmas are happier. Not sure if this is true but I’m about to find out 😃
💯 December 1st is the earliest acceptable date for decorations or Christmas music
My kids want to put up the tree now and I’ve given up already.
 No eggnog before Thanksgiving!
In Canada the last public holiday/observance before Christmas is Remembrance Day (Nov 11). Needless to say I have now heard Christmas music in the stores the last few days. Pretty standard every year.
The Walter part of you should sneak over at 2am with a pair of ✂️ and put in some work.
Last year I never took them down... I'm so fcking bullshit on christmas
Once my husband puts it up, we're going to leave our Christmas stuff up until February now.

Violence resonates for generations.

no Lyn be the bigger person!
Having lights out until June one year was deeply satisfying.
february is standard in my household
Nothing Christmas themed happens at my house until the official beginning of Advent.
Good idea. I keep my decorations up most of January anyway.
 See what happens Larry LOL
 Mo
My mom asked me to get them out last night, I said "I ain't seen no Santa and the end of the parade yet!!!" 😂
 Over the line, Smokey!!
Our annual Christmas party is the second Saturday in December. I have succumbed to hanging stuff before Thanksgiving. We do have a rule that the lights don't get turned on.
 This is not 'Nam
For my part, it's no mince pies before December #christmas

I have a few christmas lights on some shrubs i keep on permanently. Simply because they are beautiful. they are called christmas lights, but i call them simply "lights". few light dots here and there on my back yard is beautiful.
