I graduated high school with a 1.6 GPA and I dropped out of college. I’m proud of both of these facts. 😂
 my man
Right back at you my dude
https://m.primal.net/ISCd.mov
I failed 2 grades before I graduated high school.
 Hey #metoo.
 What classes did you pass?
Whatever ones I needed to graduate and not a single one more
I dropped out of college too 😂 If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. That path led me here and I wouldn't want to change a thing.
Am I the only one on nostr who got good grades?
@jack do you get good grades?
I have an A in math
Typically go for As, get Bs. Occasionally I get a C in some classes (English, fuck English)
 English D sometimes 😭
My fault though, I build during class instead.
good grades but only showed up on test days, principle just wanted me to sign in first before leaving so guv stipend paid
I got good grades in high school. Gave up during college when we had a lecture about how much we may make in our field and I was already making that as a valet parking cars
 Part time too 😂
My GPA was above a 4.0. Our school was so fiat they inflated the grades. I wasn't in the top 10% despite having more than a perfect GPA.
You could get 4.3 at my school 🤣
 MOAR FOURS - FIAT 🤡🌎
 I got a C- for a 48% in game theory econ.

It was the hardest course ever not fiat in any sence
Learn how to learn. Fuck the rest of it cause it's all bullshit anyways.
to learn how to learn we just need to unlearn or distrust what school taught us about what learning is.
When you were in school were they still using abacas?
We didn’t wear shoes so we could count to 20 no problem
 Lol
Hell yeah. One semester I pulled a 0.0.
Same. Solid C or D student right here.
 College dropouts unite!
Dude, we are so fucking alike it's unbelievable 🤣😂
in Scotland the education is free. I dropped out of college 3 times.
To fail at preforming in state mandated indoctrination is true success.
I had the benefit of being born almost completely deaf. In junior high I had surgery and got most of my hearing back but by then I was past the window of susceptibility and I just never bought into their bullshit.
Similar. I had adhd and I would just constantly tune out whatever was happening.
Full marks in HS and in college.

What a waste of time…
It’s incredible when you look back isn’t it?
I graduated fifth in my class in High School with a GPA of 4.2.

I graduated college, with honors, with a degree in Economics.

I am proud of both of those facts.
And yet again hodl got in bitcoin years before you and is much more successful at life than you are

No shade to shawn. There are many different paths to success.
and you concluded that based on what?
 probabilities
I got my degree in Applied Physics, concentrating in Material Science and Electronics

Now I want to teach at the University level, so I gotta head to Grad School.

Hoping BTC puts me on a firm financial foundation to not capitulate to administrative tyrants.

I'm proud of what I've accomplished and what I will accomplish in the future.
 🤣
I quit High School in the 10th grade because it was a waste of my time.

Then I immediately got a G.E.D. and began attending college.

Two years saved !
 Damn yall were mega rebels
i got a full ride and a government stipend for Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EECS --it was separate then), got kicked out because I never went to class then I graduated with a Philosophy degree 😏 I never liked school, my peers, or my professors

I used to give myself a hard time for not taking full advantage of my education. I was so enamored with the internet I felt like I learned nothing at University, but it turns out I got the perfect education for what I ended up doing. Looking back, getting kicked out of University was the best thing that happened to me; it was horrifying at that time
 Wow haha
I'm a firm believer that anything you learn, you truly learn on your own through your own efforts.

For some, that's easier with structure (like college). For others, it's often easier on your own.

(I'm more of the independent learner--really don't need to sit in a classroom--true learning only happens when you personally put in the effort).

The engagement farming douchebag strikes again
 Liam in #CODEDSHADOWS is #Unschooled. 👀
 🤜🤛
 Because?
Because none of it mattered anyway. Proud I took ownership of my own time/thoughts.
Sending your kids to school or no?
 Private school yeah
The only thing high school taught me was how to game the system--not a great setup for college. Dropped out, but finished a degree years later while working.
 1.6…. Jesus…
Dang, I was 1.75, didn't know I could have gone lower! Of course band and government brought my grade up. I turned out just fine!
I had a 2.98 in high school while doing literally no schoolwork. Followed that up with a BS in computer science. I made As in my comp sci and math classes but never went to my other classes.

10 years later I went back and finished a BS in physics for the fun of it
You should always be proud of who you are. None of us chose to be born into this body.
1.6 sounds to be like you were smoking your fair share of darts on the side of the school.
 Definitely was
School isn't for everyone. The world is a more interesting place because of those who wandered off the beaten path.
