I guess Microsoft really doesn't want you to make an offline local account on Windows anymore. This is so aggravating. nostr:nevent1qqsg8zwgtvplhj3p3j7xtu8j3uw56as9rmyxgphq0lxe7nwshm3ptvgpzdmhxue69uhhwmm59e6hg7r09ehkuef0qgsyfhqu9kuu877hhm5j2lkwk5478nuvgza00d3lgmjkkk9px8r57zcrqsqqqqqpdu4z5h
God bless your soul.
fingers crossed I just found a workaround that opens up the command prompt and lets me do it manually
They blocked that :(
Fn+shift+f10 then OOBE\BYPASSNRO in the coand prompt just worked for me.
Nice, they patched it in the latest version so that trick doesn't work anymore
Well then I'm glad I didn't fully update then I guess, even though I thought my computer updated a few times. 😅
I don't think Win11 is ever *fully* updated lol
At 1st boot, You have to make a temporary Microsoft account just long enough to log in and create a local admin account then login as that one to delete the Microsoft account lol
This was the final nail in the coffin for me. I had to login to remove the boot security so I could install Linux.
That's why I can never do win11. I guess I'm stuck with win10 on my dual boot till the end of time 😂
why would you run windows?
Ya its pretty horrible, had to use an existing email or create an email and EVEN IF YOU CREATE AN EMAIL WITH MS, THEY LOCK YOU OUT IF YOU DONT VERIFY FROM A LINKED PHONE # OR OTHER EMAIL. nostr:nevent1qqsr44payjsstv5pnh0wfmrfnyx4062dnwhgf2te3zafd3ztqyt3vwgpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfdupzq3xurskmnslm67lwjft7e66jhc7033qt4aak8arw266c5ycuwnctqvzqqqqqqyrnl82j
