When everyone is armed people are polite and considerate on a level you never see in everyday society. Most people have never experienced this. Go to a gun range or gun show and you'll see it first hand.
Could it perpetuate the culture of people-pleasing where everybody is on tiptoes all the time about what they’re saying? Works at a gun range sure, but in society at a larger scale?
tippytoes is exhausting
And contradictory to the concept of free marketplace of ideas. But I don’t like a government having all the guns either.
it's the people not the guns, imho, i grew up with them.
Until they're 4 Bourbon's in that night and shit gets sideways and people get shot, oopsie.... I've seen a lot of armed assholes keep the room polite because everyone is scared to trigger the fucktard bullies.
