One notable example of a Bitcoin circular economy is the initiative called Bitcoin Beach, which has inspired similar efforts in other places. Bitcoin Beach, located in El Salvador, has created a circular economy where Bitcoin is used as a standard medium of exchange . Another example is the Bitcoin circular economy in Lugano, Switzerland, known as the Lugano Plan.
