I HATE ORDINALS BUT I DON’T LIKE BEING TOLD, HOW I CAN USE BITCOIN.
WHO is telling you what about ordinals? The Ocean mining pool? Don’t use it!
No one is telling you how to use Bitcoin.

Don't like Ordinals? Don't buy them. Think Inscriptions are dumb? Don't mine them.

Think Ordinals are awesome? Buy them. Think Inscriptions are worth the work? Mine them.

You have these choices. The free market that is Bitcoin gives you these choices.
 Right ?

Seems that a lot of people working with #Bitcoin seem to forget that basic rule

Fucking permissionless
I hope if possible, core devs will eventually remove possibility or amend incentives against inscriptions.
Saying dont mine them if you dont like them is like saying these days dont buy anything made in communist countries if you do not like communism.
It is not the mining I don't like, I don't like that others mining it raises fees for my transactions.
I am no fan of democracy. I choose my ways based on universal truths, and if something stands in my way - I will remove it if I have the power needed, no matter who or how many want what.
I get it that ordinals attract some losers to bitcoin that would not be attracted otherwise. I will believe this is necessary as some sort of a tactical move. But I hope they will not get to profit from this eventually. I hate when accidental fly-bys get to profit from virtuous things they do not even understand, or often even fight for the opposite evil stuff.
Bitcoin core devs changed the code and we have to live with it. Pay high fees or use custodial apps. That's the future of Bitcoin. Get used to it.
But you do not hate that you are told that there must be halvening and that 21 mln is the limit and that double spendind tx will not be accepted, do you?
People can choose to do what they want, but they can't choose the effects of policies. Immutable storage use case works against the sound money use case. Former drives up resource usage making running nodes more costly, reducing node distribution: prices out small utxos rendering them less valuable or valueless.
 Same here.
