5. How often do you discuss your writing with your real-life friends and family?  

Discuss? Real-life: never. 
I discussed my fanfic with my online friend and beta reader and maydo so again if I ever get to that stage with my original work (if she is still interested).
I briefly discussed research with a coworker.
I'm shy about my writing so writing groups scare me. I'm so glad to have found this community here though. You all are so helpful and inspiring. 😍
