What inspires your painting style? Was there an artist you looked up to? How did you come onto this kind of art?
What do you like about my art? What attracts you? How long have you been following me?
Just stumbled upon you and your work today. I'm new to Nostr, just started this week.

BTW, I looked up Fred Cumin RIP, his work is beautiful. This was my favorite from his website. I love to fish and the scene in the painting connects my senses to the memories of some beautiful evenings out fishing.

Q: What do you like about my art? What attracts you?

A: I've always appreciated the style of neo-impressionism but I've never actually asked an artist what the style was until just now with you.

What I like about your art is the spirit of reality it reveals. It acts like a filter that reveals the truth behind the images our brain tells us is what makes reality.

Just to see the potted plant on the window sill in reality and how your painting is coming out reveals just that. Art like yours alters my reality and sparks introspection, like why do I perceive the world The way I do?

Actually, Fred Cuming's is more of a neo-impressionist abstractionism.
But beyond labels that only serve critics to pigeonhole artists, I really enjoy creating emotions with my paintings and Fred Cuming strikes straight to the heart.
 What inspires your painting style?
I like English Neo-Impressionism.

Is there an artist you admire?
I like Fred Cuming and Andrew Barrowman.

How did you approach this type of art?
My artistic journey started again recently, I have been painting frequently for about two years, but I had stopped about thirty years ago.
Ill look into your admired artists. Good for you for getting back in the saddle! I'll zap ya from my mutiny wallet.

I'm a writer and have kind of done the same . I'll write consecutively for a while then fall off as life seems to make things out to be more important than my art. Then randomly something will spark my drive to create again. Nostr seems to be a good place to showcase art of all types with the micropayments embedded in the user experience.

Is that what brought you to nostr or was it more the bitcoin rabbit hole?
When I met Nostr the zaps were not there, they were put in a few months later, I came here because I like freedom 🤙

Have a nice day 🫂🎨
