 Dalia,

Thank you for creating the Loom video and trying out Satoshi Settlers. Appreciate the suggestions and ideas.
\- I'll experiment with a different color for the top-level UI buttons on the map.
\- An "About" page is long overdue; I'll probably release one soon.
\- I may be able to leverage Nostr for the chatbox, something I'll keep in mind.
\- Regarding the project link, I used the "Link a Project" section. I believe that's why you can see the project icon near my profile picture at the bottom right of the post image, correct?
\- To answer your question about land versus color: Eventually, the land tiles will yield resources based on the hash of the block they represent. The land view should display the type of land and resources you are gathering. Currently, everything is dirt and grass, but this will change in time.
"everything is dirt and grass, but this will change in time" so poetic! it indeed does all start as dirt and grass

I think the mechanism of being able to purchase someone else's property needs to be promoted too. it's the hook in the game. I meant to ask you by the way what was the thing that drove you to create this game? I know you're working at ZBD but did you make games before? It was one of the things I wanted as a career as a kid
You have a discord message :)
John, I developed a game using the Sierra Engine in the early 2000s, a modded version of Empire Earth. It became popular enough for others to host it on their servers. The game featured 3v3 matches, where each player controlled around 150 units. These units would upgrade and respawn as players accumulated more kills. Having someone appreciate your work and your games is one of the best feelings I've ever felt.. still chasing that high now under Satoshi Settlers.

Dalia, will respond soon.
