 using electricity on bitcoin is wasteful in relation to conventional money. having a crypto currency doesnt solve the climate crisis. 

 Bitcoin mining is the essential technology to forster more economic energy production by providing an incitentiv to invest in energy production capacity, that is essential to stabilize the electricity grit and to make use of otherwise stranded energy.

Especially in Germany, where no nuclear energy is available anymore Bitcoin mining is required for a successful transformation towards renewable energy sources.

I am afraid, as long as people do not understand this, consequence is further deindustrialization and loss of wealth.

It's totally crazy, we have the solution for the main problems of any society in front of our eyes. Nevertheless, higher energy prices, war and regression is happening everywhere. 

 Germany in 3rd place is a surprise for me, given the high energy price of 48,12 €Cent/kWh (Status March 2023). 

I think, #Bitcoin mining can be profitable with current BTC price below 5,0 €Cent/kWh costs of energy?

Of course, Bitcoin mining is still economically possible even with such high energy prices when stranded energy is used and/or excess heat generated by Bitcoin mining is required for heating needs. 

I doubt, that mining in Germany is that advanced already?
