 It's probably nothing right? Cow farts are way worse even though there's less cows than there were bison and bison are bigger. Right?

 And the squares between that grid are mainly large volume indoor air conditioned spaces that use heat pumps (A/C units) to move the indoor heat into the outside ambient air...

Even in the winter, heated spaces slowly but constantly bleed their heat to the outdoors.
