I have noticed that here on Nostr there are not many posts about free education (unschooling) and also about compulsory education in general. I would like to focus on this topic in 7 upcoming posts called "Seven sins of our education system". 

This series is based on the fact that our education is build up on the Prussian educational model. This model promotes obedience and lack of critical thinking by its whole concept of learning. We can feel it as normal nowadays. But before this attitude, education was different.

This approach in education (and it is used in almost every developed country) almost inevitably produces certain types of behaviour, thinking and attitudes that we see all around us. And I would like to discuss this feelings and difficulties of fulfilling life in my original series. I hope you will enjoy it. Please let me know in the comments. Thank you 🥰

 Without going into details about what models the education system is built on (we'd also recommend looking into the history of the General education board. Evil! )... We fully agree that what we seee as "compulsory schooling" focuses on limiting creativity, slavish obedience, etc. All to create more cogs in the overall system. Not to help build sovereign generation. Yet! The future is bright. Maybe not on nostr yet, but there are many interesting projects  that focus on children and families. One of our goals is to help them reach a larger group + gather information for children/teenagers/parents in one place, from which they can then go further, the direction they want.
