User Retention is not a bug, it's a feature. You know what makes people "stick around" ? Algos, outrage porn, everything toxic about traditional social media. "User retention" is just another way of saying how do make my app more addicting. Onboarding zaps won't do that. Normies don't really care that much. It's okay if people aren't using your app all the time. nostr will still be here when they need it. If user retention on nostr is ever close to where traditional social media is now, I will consider it to have been centralized and failed. The only way you addict people to app like they have is if content curation becomes centralized through very few algorithms.
