It's amazing how many are seemingly coming out of the woodwork (no real action, just people in position detained with weapons) after people "forgot" the first one, and just before the election. I've seen this tactic used successfully before. It's a convenient narrative, and not original. Maybe he wants to sell the whole collection of assassination attempt sneakers? Not buying it. It's a psyop.

💯 and that whole thing about the guy getting close enought to Obama while carrying a gun is the news media psyop retort from the Left throwing the blame on the secret service and positioning the narrative that it's happening on both sides is equally obvious political theater.

It really isn't that amazing. Media coverage inspires certain people to do things like this. It is seen with school shooters and other types of violence too. I think there is also an incentive for media to cover these things while they're hot, which fuels the cycle. My guess is that things like this happen more often than we know, the media just isn't as interested until a bullet is fired.
I would certainly expect Trump to sell every case he can though, especially this close to the election. It just wasn't as sellable until blood was drawn.
